Oil Supply to Hungary Suspended Due to Ukraine's Attacks, Says Szijjarto
The oil supplies to Hungary have been suspended indefinitely due to Ukraine's latest attack on an oil pipeline. This was announced by Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto.
“Ukraine has once again attacked the oil pipeline leading to Hungary, which has resulted in the cessation of oil supply. Another attack on our energy security is unacceptable,” Szijjarto wrote on social media.
He reminded Ukrainian politicians that a significant portion of electricity enters Ukraine through Hungary. Earlier, Prime Minister Viktor Orban had stated that Hungary could collapse Ukraine within a day by halting gas and electricity supplies, but is not interested in doing so.
