Former Head of Armenia's State Revenue Committee Appeals to International Organizations

The legal team of Vardan Harutyunyan, the former head of Armenia's State Revenue Committee, has issued a statement announcing that they, along with Harutyunyan's wife, have reached out to the representative offices and embassies of international organizations in Armenia.

In their communication, they provided detailed information about the politically motivated prosecutions against Vardan Harutyunyan and his family members, drawing attention to the nature and scope of the violated rights, as well as revealing the motives behind these persecutions. They also proposed to present documented evidence of the ongoing persecutions and the factual and legal details in a more detailed format during a reception.

It is worth noting that Vardan Harutyunyan was detained on August 8 of this year in connection with a criminal case that had been investigated and subsequently closed seven years ago.
