Rubio Comments on Putin-Trump Negotiations

The U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has described the summit held in Alaska as very effective. Journalists asked the Secretary to share his impressions on the meeting between Russian and American leaders Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.

“It was very good, very effective,” Rubio stated.

Recall that on August 15, the Russia-U.S. summit took place at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Alaska. The main event was the negotiations between Putin and Trump, which concluded with the leaders announcing significant progress in the Ukraine conflict resolution process. However, no agreements were signed after the meeting.
