India Evaluates Progress Made During Summit

India welcomes the summit held in Alaska between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated in a message issued by the spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
“Their leadership in the pursuit of peace is highly commendable. India evaluates the progress made during the summit. Progress can only be achieved through dialogue and diplomacy. The world wishes to see a swift resolution to the conflict in Ukraine,” the statement read.
