Court Session on Mikayel Serbazan's Case Concluded

The court session concerning Mikayel Serbazan, the head of the Shirak Diocese, was postponed today. The next court sessions have been scheduled at an unprecedented pace for August 18, 19, 21, and 25 at 2:00 PM.

The court also postponed the examination of the motion to suspend the criminal proceedings against Mikayel Serbazan.

It is worth recalling that today marked the first court session regarding Archbishop Mikayel Ajapahyan's case, taking place at the Avan headquarters of the first instance general jurisdiction criminal court of Yerevan. Later, the court rejected the motion for Mikayel Ajapahyan's release from custody. The preventive measure of detention was left unchanged by Judge Armine Meliksetyan, and the detention period was extended by another 10 days.
