Putin Holds Consultation Ahead of Alaska Summit
Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a consultation with members of the country's top leadership to prepare for a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska. This was reported by the press secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, according to TASS.
“Today, Vladimir Putin held a consultation with members of Russia's top leadership, as well as representatives from the government and presidential administration, to prepare for the Russian-American summit scheduled to take place in Alaska,” said the Kremlin spokesperson.
Earlier, it was reported that a meeting between the President of Russia and the President of the United States would take place in Alaska tomorrow. Later, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov provided details about the upcoming meeting between the leaders of Russia and the U.S.
