I Do Not Agree with the Charges; It Has No Relation to Reality, Hovik Abrahamyan Says
Today marks the first court session in the case of former Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
“I do not agree with the charges. They have no relation to reality. This accusation started seven years ago and there is no serious evidence. Let's proceed into the session and see what they say,” Abrahamyan told journalists.
It is noteworthy that Hovik Abrahamyan is accused of several offenses, including money laundering, abuse of official power, and illegal participation in entrepreneurship.
The court had decided to reject the request to detain Hovik Abrahamyan, and he has been placed under house arrest as a preventive measure.
