Ukraine Presents Five Key Conditions for Ending War

Ukraine has put forward five key conditions for ending the war, according to Politico:

1. Stable ceasefire before any territorial concessions.
2. Kyiv wants Russia to compensate for the damages caused, estimated between $500 billion and $1 trillion.
3. Ukraine seeks security guarantees, either in the form of NATO membership or other means.
4. Maintains sanctions against Russia, while Moscow demands their removal on its terms.
5. Return of prisoners of war and children.

It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump will meet in Alaska to discuss these issues, including steps towards a Russian-Ukrainian settlement.
