Trump Confident in Europe’s Desire to Establish Peace in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump is confident that European leaders are interested in reaching a peace agreement concerning Ukraine. According to the American leader, Europe is ready for him to negotiate peace with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the matter.

This was stated by Trump on his Truth Social platform.

“I will be speaking with European leaders soon. They are wonderful people who want to make a deal,” Trump wrote.

A videoconference on the Ukraine issue is scheduled to take place in Berlin on August 13, with participation from European leaders. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky personally traveled to Germany to attend the online meeting with Trump and European officials.

During the meeting, participants are expected to coordinate Western positions ahead of upcoming negotiations between the leaders of Russia and the United States.

The Russia-US summit will take place in Anchorage, Alaska, on August 15, where President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will discuss the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
