Russia Intensifies Attacks on Frontline Ahead of Trump-Putin Meeting, Says Zelensky
Russia has intensified its attacks ahead of the Trump-Putin meeting, with the Kremlin aiming for the full occupation of Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, “Putin is bluffing when he says that sanctions are not working. They hit Russia's military economy. Yes, they have more weapons and artillery, but their losses are three times greater. I told Trump that Putin does not want peace; he wants full occupation of Ukraine. We will continue to exert pressure - the U.S. and Europe must strengthen sanctions,” during an online summit held by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz today.
Zelensky also added that “Trump is ready to provide security guarantees to Ukraine.”
