Russian Army Not Preparing to End War, Says Zelensky

Ukraine, along with Europe and the United States, must not allow Russia to deceive the world again. The Russian army is preparing not to cease hostilities, but for new attacks. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a Telegram message, as reported by RBC-Ukraine.

He expressed gratitude to the EU leaders for adopting a statement in support of Ukraine and diplomacy. The EU made its statement regarding support for Ukraine ahead of a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Indeed, we all support President Trump’s determination, and together we must shape positions that do not allow Russia to deceive the world again. We see that the Russian army is not preparing to end the war. On the contrary, they are engaged in actions that indicate preparations for new offensive operations. In such conditions, it is essential that nothing threatens the unity of the world,” the President noted.
