Opposition Predicted Iran and Russia Would Declare War on Armenia with Bombs: Karapetyan

MP Maria Karapetyan wrote: “The opposition predicted and longed for Iran and Russia to declare war on Armenia with bombs. As always, the opposition does not have any real understanding of how complex the politics are for nations with a state. No war was declared, and here we are, reluctantly and lazily publishing the opposition's statements, where once again the old-fashioned oxymoron can be found: on one hand, to restore justice and human rights, and on the other hand, to align with Russia.

In this way, the Republican Party accuses the ruling forces of being engaged in 'geopolitical adventurism' and demands a 'justice-based' peace. The 'Armenia' alliance is also calling for 'standards of justice in resolving international conflicts' while simultaneously demanding 'multilateral reconciliation of interests' and 'involvement of foreign allies.' In short, the opposition needs something that either does not exist, namely geopolitical justice, or something that, of course, used to exist: the Armenian people demanding justice from the world in the geopolitically declared 'zone of influence' of the South Caucasus and a persistent conflict,” Karapetyan posted on her Facebook page.

Earlier, the 'Armenia' faction had issued a statement regarding the preliminary agreement signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington.
