Earthquake Occurs in the Caspian Sea

An earthquake has occurred in the Caspian Sea. Azerbaijani seismologists have registered an underwater earthquake in the Caspian Sea. This was reported by the Republican Seismological Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. It is noted that the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 74 kilometers, with a magnitude reaching 3.2.

It is worth mentioning that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 was also recorded in Russia. The epicenter was located 126 kilometers southeast of the regional center of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The depth of that earthquake was 68.4 kilometers, and residents of the city felt tremors of two magnitudes.
