If Russia Continues to Attack Ukraine's Energy Facilities, Baku Will Take Response Measures

If Russia continues to strike Ukraine's energy facilities, Baku will begin discussions on lifting the ban on arms supplies to Ukraine, according to Azerbaijani media reports.

Previously, it was reported that Russia targeted the oil depot of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) located in the Odesa region of Ukraine. According to sources from RBC-Ukraine publication, the attack was carried out using five Shahed drones. The assault caused a fire and damaged a diesel pipeline. Four employees of the company were injured, all sustaining serious injuries and requiring hospitalization. The fire was quickly extinguished, and repair works are underway. Ukrainian law enforcement agencies indicated that the strikes were targeted.

This marks the second attack in recent weeks on facilities associated with SOCAR, following a previous strike on the gas distribution station near Orlovka, through which Azerbaijani gas is supposed to flow.
