EU Foreign Ministers to Hold Meeting

The head of the European Union's foreign policy, Kaia Kalas, has stated that any agreement between Washington and Moscow regarding the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine must include Ukraine and the EU, according to Reuters.

She added that she will convene a meeting of European foreign ministers on Monday to discuss the next steps.

"The US has the opportunity to compel Russia to engage in serious negotiations. Any agreement between the US and Russia must include Ukraine and the EU, as this is a matter of security for Ukraine and all of Europe. All temporarily occupied territories belong to Ukraine. The agreement should not become a platform for Russia's further aggression against Ukraine, the transatlantic alliance, and Europe," Kalas emphasized.
