A Hot and Dry August is Expected

The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center reports that the average monthly temperature in August across the Republic is expected to be 2-3 degrees Celsius higher than normal, with precipitation amounts forecasted to be below normal. A hot and dry August is anticipated.
