Casualties, Injuries, Damaged Roads, and Disrupted Power Supply: Situation in Beijing
In the northern mountainous regions of Beijing, heavy rainfall has resulted in the deaths of 30 individuals. This was reported by the Xinhua agency, citing local authorities.
Among the deceased, 28 were in the Miyun district, while two others lost their lives in the Yanqing district. Local officials indicate that a total of 80,300 residents have been relocated in Beijing.
The rains have damaged 31 sections of roads and disrupted power supply in 136 villages. The Ministry of Emergency Management of China has reported that several days of continuous heavy rainfall have caused severe flooding in the Miyun and Huairou districts of Beijing.
