Cambodia Rejects Thailand's Accusations of Ceasefire Violation

Cambodia has denied accusations from the Thai military regarding a violation of the ceasefire in the border area. This was stated by General Lieutenant Mali Sochait, spokesperson for Cambodia's Ministry of National Defense.

He emphasized that the Cambodian Armed Forces strictly adhere to the commands from Phnom Penh and the ceasefire agreement that took effect at midnight.

The spokesperson noted that the Cambodian side has taken clear obligations and has fulfilled the agreements reached in the Malaysian capital.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, Thailand accused Cambodia of violating the ceasefire, which had come into effect at midnight on July 29.
