US President Donald Trump has announced that Russia has not responded to the 10-day deadline he set for the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. This was reported by Interfax, referencing the US president. “There has been no response. This is disappointing,” Trump stated.

Trump declared that he is prepared to impose tariffs if negotiations around Ukraine fail, but he doubts their effectiveness against Russia. The American leader emphasized that the deadline for Russia to respond to the ultimatum presented by the US regarding the Ukrainian conflict will expire in 10 days, with the countdown starting today.

On July 28, the American leader announced that he had decided to shorten the timeline for achieving a ceasefire in Ukraine to 10-12 days. The White House chief pointed out that “there is no reason to wait” until September 3, as the United States sees no progress in the negotiations.
