The U.S. Entered Direct War, Feels the Zionist Regime Will Be Annihilated: Khamenei

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has welcomed his country’s "victory" over Israel. This is the Iranian Supreme Leader's first statement following the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between Tehran and Tel Aviv. "I would like to congratulate the great Iranian nation, first and foremost, on the victory against the Zionist regime," said Ali Khamenei.

"The American regime has entered directly into war, as it felt that if it did not intervene, the Zionist regime would be entirely annihilated. Here too, the Islamic Republic has triumphed and delivered a strong blow to America," stated the Iranian Supreme Leader.

It should be noted that this is Ali Khamenei's first public speech in a week. Prior to this, he had recorded two video messages following the start of the war against Iran initiated by Israel on June 13.

Earlier, the American publication The New York Times reported on June 21 that Khamenei is hiding in a bunker and has already appointed three heirs in the event of his death.
