The Needlestick Process for Children in Armenia Will End: Anahit Avanesyan
The government will allocate 729 million dram to provide medication for a number of diseases. A key point of this decision is the program to change measuring devices for children suffering from diabetes. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan.
“This is highly anticipated, and we have been actively working with our partners to provide our children with the latest technological solutions, so we can end this daily needlestick process for children. With this decision, we ensure the medication needs for children up to 10 years old, as well as the provision of these devices. In subsequent decisions, we will also bring in a comprehensive program for those up to 18 years old and redistribution decisions,” the minister stated.
