No Progress in Gaza Negotiations

No progress has been made in the negotiations surrounding Gaza, according to senior Israeli sources. "Despite optimistic sentiments, there is no advancement; on the contrary, Hamas has hardened its positions regarding the withdrawal line, the number of hostages to be released, and the mechanisms for distributing humanitarian aid," the statement read.

Reports indicate that U.S. Special Envoy Wittekov will travel to Doha at the end of the week for a final deal, provided successful negotiations with Israel and Qatar over the Gaza issue take place in Rome.
