Car Deliberately Driven Towards a Group of Individuals: Several Arrests Made

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has reported that on July 21, 2025, a group of individuals went to a summer house used by B.K. in Shirak Province alongside an investigator and police officers to conduct necessary actions within the framework of an initiated criminal case. Upon reaching the area of the mentioned summer house, B.K. and K.K., having a hostile relationship with A.K. and his family, obstructed the actions by throwing stones and wooden pieces at them.

Subsequently, B.K., driven by K.K., unlawfully aimed to take another's life by getting into his own 'UAZ' brand vehicle and driving it towards A.K.'s 'UAZ' vehicle. He collided with it and then, continuing to carry out his criminal intent, drove erratically towards A.K., who was standing near a group of people, thereby placing their lives in actual danger. He attempted to run over A.K., which was not realized due to circumstances beyond his control, as it was prevented by the actions of those nearby that evaded the car and the measures taken by police officers.

During the investigation initiated regarding the incident, public criminal prosecution was initiated against B.K. under the Criminal Code, Article 44-155, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 7 (attempted murder), and against K.K. under Article 46-44-155, Paragraph 1 (incitement to attempted murder). Both have been subjected to detention as a preventive measure.
