Iran agrees with U.S. President Donald Trump's statements regarding the unacceptability of Tehran possessing nuclear weapons. This was stated by Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian in an interview with Al Jazeera.
“Trump says Iran should not have nuclear weapons. Discussions about halting our nuclear program are just an illusion,” the Iranian president noted.
Pezeshkian added that “uranium enrichment within Iranian territory will continue in the future, within the framework of international law.” He emphasized that Iran will not tolerate threats and impositions regarding its nuclear program.
