Bagrati and Michael Bishops to Attend Vardavar Celebration in Prison

Bagrati and Michael Bishops will participate in the Vardavar holiday service, which will be held at the "Yerevan-Center" penitentiary. This was announced to Armenia Sputnik by Ara Zohrapyan, the lawyer of Archbishop Michael Ajapahyan.

"We have sent written requests to the prison, and we have been granted permission to hold a service this Sunday. The service will be led by the prison's chaplain, and of course, the archbishops will be present," he said.

The bishops have not complained about the conditions of their detention or the treatment from the prison staff. They continue to remain in the same cell.
