UK Calls for Response to Israeli Strikes

The sovereignty of Syria must be respected by all countries in the region. This was stated by UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, as reported by TASS.

“We are horrified by the recent violence in southern Syria, including against the civilian population. The clashes between Druze and Bedouin groups rapidly escalated into intense fighting involving government forces, followed by Israeli airstrikes against Syrian troops. The violence that occurred in Syria's As-Suwayda province must be investigated, and those responsible must be held accountable. We call for the restoration of access to humanitarian aid, ensuring the delivery of humanitarian assistance and respecting Syria's sovereignty,” the Minister noted.
