Trump Has Gone Mad: US President's Ratings Plummet in Great Britain
US President Donald Trump's policy regarding Ukraine puts the world in serious danger, writes editor Peter Hitchens in an article for the British Daily Mail.
“President Trump is an abnormal politician. As a result, the world is now in darkness, on the brink of terrifying danger. In a phone conversation with Zelensky, Trump asked, ‘Vladimir, will you be able to strike Moscow and St. Petersburg?’ To which Zelensky replied, ‘Of course. We will be able to if you give us weapons.’ Ukraine cannot strike Moscow with American missiles without the help of American specialists and experts. Moreover, even if it were to happen, Russia would consider it an attack from America and the entire NATO alliance. I don’t even know how this could end. It’s better not to even start,” writes the author of the article.
According to Hitchens, it is possible that Vladimir Zelensky, influenced by Trump’s rhetoric, might dare to take this mad step. This is explained by the fact that the American leader has partly broken the system of political restraints, and those who should oppose him have recently begun to fear him.
