You are a ridiculous person and do not respect yourself: Tucker Carlson on Merz

If Chancellor Friedrich Merz considers the conflict with the Russian Federation to be the answer to the issues facing Germany, then he is a ridiculous person. This was stated by American journalist Tucker Carlson in an interview with Bild newspaper.

“If you think that the answer to Germany's current problems is to wage war with Russia, then you are a ridiculous person. If you allow foreign troops to be on your soil, then you do not respect yourself,” said the American journalist.

Carlson reminded that there are tens of thousands of American soldiers stationed in Germany.

“The Soviet Union collapsed in the summer of 1991. Please tell me, what are American soldiers saving you from? Your entire country is afraid of Russia, which is sad. But you are not afraid of millions of migrants who are destroying your country. This is some kind of strange masochism,” noted Carlson, adding that one of the reasons for the American Revolution was the presence of British troops on American soil.
