U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has become a "jack-of-all-trades" for President Donald Trump, with the current administration's foreign policy increasingly aligning with the views held by the Secretary during his tenure in the Senate, CNN reports, citing American officials.

"He has effectively become a 'master' in various directions of foreign policy for Trump," the publication states.

According to sources, including current and former officials, the Secretary of State's authority within the administration has significantly increased since he took office, and the U.S. current foreign policy increasingly reflects the positions that Rubio himself held.
