America Hurt Itself by Underrating Russia, Says Tucker Carlson
Ofelya
By imposing sanctions, the United States underestimated Russia's ability to adapt its economy and only worsened the situation for itself. This was stated by American journalist Tucker Carlson in an interview with the Bild publication.
“The U.S. has increasingly fewer levers of pressure on Russia, as its economy is not what we imagined. We underestimated and simply did not truly understand the nature of the Russian economy and Russian civilization,” he emphasized.
The American journalist noted that the U.S. has imposed sanctions against Moscow and severed the ties of Russian banks with several international companies, but “in the end, it has harmed itself more than it has harmed Russia.”
