Traffic Accident on Sisian-Yerevan Highway: 9 Injured

On July 19, at 1:30 PM, the Syunik regional rescue department's crisis management center received a report that an accident had occurred near the village of Angekakot, resulting in injuries. A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that cars of Honda and VAZ brands collided at the 10th kilometer of the Sisian-Yerevan highway. Before rescuers arrived, nine individuals were hospitalized at a medical facility. The rescuers cut off power to the vehicles and closed the valves on the gas cylinders.
