New Acting Head of Vagharchapat Municipality Appointed

Today, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, Davit Khudatyan, presented Arghisti Mekhakyan as the new acting head of the Vagharchapat Municipality staff.

Khudatyan emphasized that Mr. Mekhakyan began his professional career directly from the municipality, is familiar with the community's issues, opportunities, and will undoubtedly achieve success in the important task of managing the Vagharchapat community.

Mekhakyan expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the trust placed in him and stated that he will do his utmost to meet the expectations of the residents of Vagharchapat.

It should be reminded that on June 9, 2025, during an extraordinary session of the Vagharchapat community council, it was announced that the community head Diana Gasparyan had filed a protocol on May 27, 2025, which led to the premature termination of her powers as the community head.
