Air Temperature to Decrease. Weather in Armenia

In several regions of the Republic of Armenia, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected tonight and tomorrow afternoon, with heavy rain in some areas on July 17, and hail is also possible. This is reported by the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The wind will be from the west at a speed of 5-8 m/s, and during thunderstorms, wind intensification is expected at a speed of 18-20 m/s.

From July 16 to 20, in the evening hours, in Armavir, Ararat, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn, wind intensification is expected at a speed of 15-18 m/s.

The air temperature will gradually decrease by 3-5 degrees on July 16-17. In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are also expected tonight and tomorrow evening, with wind intensification expected during the thunderstorms at a speed of 15-18 m/s.
