There Was No Clash Between Me and the Parents of Missing Soldiers: Torosyan

Using this opportunity, I want to permanently close a topic that I have spoken about a lot, but it is being manipulated again: Discussions are being exploited, claiming that there was some clash between the parents of missing soldiers and me near the government building and that I fled, which is a complete lie.

This was stated by Arsen Torosyan, a member of the parliamentary faction of the Civil Contract Party on his Facebook page. He provided details:

Since becoming the Minister of Health in 2018, the director of the forensic medical center under the Ministry of Health, Mher Bisharyan, informed me that our country needed a DNA sequencer to be able to identify biological materials, tissues, and bodies, which until that time had not been able to be done with modern and accurate methods.

From the very first days of the 44-day war, our first DNA sequencer and the entire forensic service began to operate on a 24-hour basis, both for the identification of unrecognizable bodies and for other examinations.

After the war ended, since even working 24 hours a day we could identify no more than 15-20 samples per day, and we had a lot of unrecognizable bodies, the government decided that we needed to purchase a second DNA sequencer to organize during holidays and special occasions, because abroad, where the device was sourced and imported from, hardly any work is done during those days.

And I urge and call for the cessation of exploiting this topic, and if there are identified bodies that have not yet been buried, to bury them and mourn their loss as many of our compatriots have done because there is simply no other solution to this issue.
