Audio Recordings Made Through Coffee Machine at Bagrat Surbazan's Residence: ‘Hraparak’
Audio recordings and eavesdropping at the residence of Bagrat Surbazan have been conducted through a coffee machine. This is reported by the newspaper ‘Hraparak’.
It turns out that at the residence of Bagrat Surbazan, where meetings of the initiative group took place, there was a coffee machine that broke down last year. One of the clergy members took it to a workshop for repair. Conversations about the coffee machine needing repairs were held over the phone, and employees of the NSS, having overheard the calls, became aware of it, kept watch, and right in that workshop, a bug was installed in the coffee machine, which enabled the NSS to eavesdrop and record for days.
It was also revealed that constant power supply is necessary for the device to operate smoothly, and since the coffee machine is always plugged in, it served as an excellent way to listen in on conversations for an extended period without attracting attention.
It should be noted that Bagrat Surbazan has been charged with preparing for terrorism, inciting mass unrest, and seizing power.
