Russia Wants to See Ukraine as a Prosperous and Stable Country, Zakharova
Russia wants to see Ukraine as a prosperous and stable country. Meanwhile, the West is using it as a tool to implement its plans, stated Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
"Not because we do not want to see Ukraine as a prosperous, stable, and peaceful country. We simply do not want this; we need it," Zakharova noted.
She added that the West, which has announced the militarization of Ukraine, has no intention of making it a stable and developed state.
Zakharova also commented on reports that the U.S. has decided not to make investments to assist Ukraine. According to her, the Americans, who know how to assess investment risks, have realized that Ukraine is an "absolutely hopeless" project.
