Electronic Cigarettes to be Monitored in EAEU via Navigation Seals

The EAEU member states are finalizing the necessary technical measures for tracking cargo using navigation seals and are confirming the list of goods subject to such monitoring. The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will monitor the transportation of electronic cigarettes through navigation seals. This decision was made during a session of the Eurasian Economic Commission (the executive body of the EAEU).

The agreement on the use of navigation seals on trucks for monitoring transportation was ratified in 2022. Now, the countries are completing the technical measures required for this.

The EEC must also regulate which goods are subject to such monitoring.
