Israel Rejects Hamas Proposals
Prime Minister Netanyahu finds Hamas's ceasefire demands unacceptable. “Qatar's proposed changes from Hamas were communicated to us last night,” said Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
“Following an assessment of the situation, Netanyahu has instructed a response to the invitation for indirect talks and to continue communications aimed at the return of our hostages, based on Qatar's initiative, which Israel has already accepted. A negotiating team will leave for Qatar on Sunday for meetings,” the office noted.
Netanyahu will again visit Washington on July 7, according to AFP, adding that the ceasefire proposal supported by the US government is likely to be among the topics he discusses with President Donald Trump.
