Vahagn Chakhalyan Detained

The leader and activist of the "Kamq" initiative, Vahagn Chakhalyan, has been detained for two months. This was announced by his son, Ruben Chakhalyan.

It is noteworthy that yesterday the Investigative Committee reported that Vahagn Chakhalyan had been arrested. "Based on the decision of the prosecutor issued on the basis of the investigator's motion regarding the preparation of terrorism and seizing power by the leaders and participants of the movement named 'Holy Struggle', criminal prosecution has been initiated against V. Ch. under Article 43-419, Part 1, and Article 43-308, Part 1, of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia."
