Erdogan Discusses Baku's Intentions Towards Moscow
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has discussed the ongoing conflict between Russia and Azerbaijan with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, concluding that Baku does not wish for further escalation of the conflict. This was reported by the Anadolu Agency.
“Aliyev is taking very careful and prudent steps in this context. He is not in favor of maintaining or escalating this issue. From his statements, I understood that he is determined to resolve it,” said the Turkish leader.
Previously, the politician expressed hope that tensions between Moscow and Baku would stabilize in the near future without harming either party. Erdogan also emphasized that the Turkish side intends to continue working towards a resolution of the issue.
