Armenian Student Killed in Washington: Cause Revealed

Eric Tarpyan-Jakim, a 21-year-old intern from Massachusetts, was killed Monday evening during a targeted shooting in the northwest area of Washington, although he was not the intended target. This has been reported by international news outlets.

Tarpyan-Jakim was a senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and had been interning since June with Kansas Representative Ron Estes.

The shooting occurred at 10:28 PM, with suspects opening fire from a vehicle, resulting in three people being injured. Tarpyan-Jakim succumbed to his injuries the following day.
