Russia Issues Call to Azerbaijan

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has announced that Moscow is urging Baku to take measures to restore the relations between the two countries to a strategic alliance level.

According to her, emerging issues in the Russia-Azerbaijan relations should be addressed in a partnership manner, using political and diplomatic means.

“Moscow had requested to visit detained Russian journalists, but such an opportunity has not been granted,” Zakharova stated.
