Drilling Platform Sinks in Red Sea, Over 30 People Aboard
A drilling platform has sunk in the Red Sea. According to reports from RIA Novosti, there were 31 people aboard the platform, and 21 have been successfully rescued.
Tragically, 4 individuals have lost their lives, while another 6 are considered missing. Search and rescue operations are underway, with 2 aircraft deployed to assist in the efforts.
It has been reported that the oil platform sank during a tow near the Hurghada area, involving three marine tugs.
