Zelensky Makes Unexpected Statement on NATO
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced Germany's support regarding Ukraine's prospects for NATO membership. He made this statement on his Telegram channel, summarizing discussions with German Foreign Minister Johannes Wahdefuhr.
“We appreciate Germany's clear signal. Ukraine's future is in NATO. It is important that all partners share this vision,” emphasized Zelensky.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects of supplying Ukrainian armed forces with German IRIS-T missile systems, as well as issues related to joint arms production. Zelensky highlighted the importance of cooperation with Germany in the field of defense technologies and expressed hope for the further expansion of military partnership between the two countries.
