They Don't Remember That Money Was Going to Sasha's and Others' Pockets: Alen Simonyan
During an extraordinary session of the National Assembly today, member of the 'Armenia' faction Artsvik Minasyan recalled Prime Minister Pashinyan's words, accusing the authorities of turning citizens into 'fines material'.
“Mr. Minasyan, it feels like you want to do everything—suddenly citizens should not be like that so they pay and have a say in the governance of the state,” responded the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan.
According to him, the budget of the city of Yerevan is in the pocket of its residents.
Artsvik Minasyan reacted from his seat, after which Alen Simonyan urged him not to speak from his place.
“They don’t remember that money was going to Sasha's and others' pockets. Fines material... It's just a word, they’ve learned it from us and they say it whenever is convenient or inconvenient,” said Simonyan.
