Flight Ban Extended in Several Regions of Iran
The ban on domestic and international flights in several regions of Iran has been extended until July 2 at 13:30, allowing for international transit flights across the country. This was reported by Majid Akhavan, a representative of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Republic.
“The cancellation of flights outside the country's borders has been extended in northern, southern, and western parts of Iran until July 2 at 13:30,” he stated. Moreover, according to the official, the airspace in the central and western regions of the country remains open for international transit flights, while the eastern part is open for both transit flights and international and domestic flights originating from that region of Iran.
