Iran will never give up on uranium enrichment. This was stated by the permanent representative of the Islamic Republic at the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, in an interview with American CBS television.

The diplomat noted that the activity of uranium enrichment is an inseparable right of Tehran, according to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). And Iran intends to exercise that right. He emphasized that uranium enrichment will never be halted.

On June 29, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, stated that his agency's experts see no signs that Iran's nuclear program is aimed at creating nuclear weapons.
