Fire Due to Unauthorized Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Station

A fire broke out today in the parking lot of the building at 55/5 Tsarav Aghbyur in Yerevan, resulting in several parked vehicles being burned. This was reported by the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA).

The cause of the fire was the installation of an electric vehicle charging station by one of the building's residents without the necessary permits, which, according to preliminary data, led to a short circuit.

The Electric Networks of Armenia urges its subscribers not to engage in illegal activities on their own initiative, as these can violate safety regulations and lead to such consequences. For any new connections, it is necessary to apply to the Company in accordance with established procedures to obtain the relevant technical conditions and make the necessary connections.
