These Are Not the End of the World: Peskov
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has spoken about the potential consequences of anti-Russian sanctions for Europe. According to him, the restrictions are a "double-edged sword," and their impact is mutual. This was reported by Kommerstant.
"The more serious the package of sanctions that we consider illegal, the stronger, so to speak, is the recoil from the gun," Mr. Peskov stated in a comment to journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The representative of the Russian president is also convinced that new sanctions will be imposed against Russia, taking into account the overall sentiment of Europeans. He claimed that Russia has already learned to minimize the consequences of sanctions pressure.
"Ultimately, these sanctions are not the end of the world," Dmitry Peskov concluded.
