The Mother See Issues a Statement

On June 29, under the direction of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin issued an appeal to the faithful during the Divine Liturgy in the churches and monasteries of the Armenian diocese in Armenia. The message urged believers to raise their personal prayers to God for the peace of the homeland and for all unlawfully imprisoned individuals, specifically mentioning Archbishop T. Mikayel Ajapahyan, Archbishop T. Bagrat Galstanyan, and national benefactor Mr. Samvel Karapetyan.
